Privacy

We collect almost nothing about you.

Last updated: 19 July 2026

farmshops.ch is an independent directory of autonomous farming equipment, operated from Switzerland. This page explains, in plain language, what little data the site touches and where it goes. For anything privacy-related, contact privacy@farmshops.ch.

The short version

No cookies. No tracking banners — because nothing here needs consent. We collect aggregated, cookieless visit statistics only. Your data is never sold and never shared with advertisers or data brokers.

Analytics

We use Vercel Web Analytics, a cookieless system. It sets no cookies and uses no persistent or cross-site identifiers. Visits are counted via a hash that is automatically discarded after 24 hours; after that, nothing can be linked back to any visitor. The data points collected are aggregate only: time of visit, page URL, referrer, coarse location (country, region, city), device type, operating system, and browser.

Legal basis for EU visitors: legitimate interest in aggregate audience measurement (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). In Switzerland, this processing falls under the Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP), with a right to object.

Where the data goes

Analytics data is processed by Vercel Inc. (USA), our hosting and analytics provider. These transfers are covered by Vercel's certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and the Swiss-US Data Privacy Framework, together with a Data Processing Addendum incorporating the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Vercel also processes standard server logs in its role as our hosting provider.

Quote requests and error reports

Links such as "Request a quote" (quotes@farmshops.ch) and "Report an error" (verify@farmshops.ch) simply open your own email program with a prefilled message. The site itself has no forms and stores nothing you type — the message goes from your mail client straight to us.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, and object to the processing of your data — contact privacy@farmshops.ch for any of these. In practice, because analytics identifiers are discarded within 24 hours and only aggregates remain afterwards, we usually cannot associate any stored data with you at all. You can also block the analytics script with any content blocker — the site works fully without it. EU/EEA visitors may lodge a complaint with their local data-protection authority; in Switzerland, that is the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).

If a data point isn't listed on this page, we don't collect it. If that changes, this page changes first.

Changes

If this policy changes, the update will appear on this page with a new date above.
